Coach - Wendy Fejfar
Wendy began her career in fitness working as a personal trainer while attending the University of Florida as a graduate student. Upon completing her graduate degree in exercise physiology in 2002, she began running recreationally as a way to stay fit outside the gym. She continued working as a personal trainer for several more months until gaining employment in the clinical setting of Cardiac Rehab at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Not long after she began running, she began racing at local runs in the North Florida area. Today, she has completed over 50 running races, including distances from 5k to full marathons.
When life brought Wendy and her husband to the Memphis area, Wendy decided to combine her love of running and her background in exercise physiology and began working again as a personal trainer and additionally as a running instructor for a local fitness facility.
For the past four years, Wendy has coached numerous runners to complete their first 5k, half-marathon or marathon. Now, Wendy is using her expertise to help beginner to advanced runners accomplish their fitness goals while setting some PR's along the way!
